Unbreakable - The Katrina Walker Story

When the lioness roars, you listen.  When women ban together for a common goal, the world stops to watch.  As was the case all over the world on Saturday, January 21st as over 5 million women from all walks of life joined to make a loud statement that "women's rights are human rights".

MISSION:  "In the spirit of democracy and honoring the champions of human rights, dignity, and justice who have come before us, we join in diversity to show our presence in numbers too great to ignore. The Women’s March on Washington will send a bold message to our new government on their first day in office, and to the world that women's rights are human rights. We stand together, recognizing that defending the most marginalized among us is defending all of us.

We support the advocacy and resistance movements that reflect our multiple and intersecting identities. We call on all defenders of human rights to join us. This march is the first step towards unifying our communities, grounded in new relationships, to create change from the grassroots level up. We will not rest until women have parity and equity at all levels of leadership in society. We work peacefully while recognizing there is no true peace without justice and equity for all."

Show stopper during the march was Ashley's Judd striking performance titled, I'm a nasty woman.  Check it out below.

GIRL POWER: Women's March on Washington (and beyond)

Welp ladies, it's time to face the music and come to grips that we have a new FLOTUS, Melania Trump.  I still choose NOT to acknowledge her husband as being the POTUS, so we'll leave him out of this article.  For all intents and purposes, I don't think that Melania is a bad person at all.  I think she signed up to be a mail order bride and got more than she bargained for.  Fast forward thru the nude GQ photo spread, the jabs at her poor English, and here she stands as the official FLOTUS.

While most of us do not know her personally, she does appear to be quite cordial and often times approval seeking from her sloth of a husband.  She seems to be trying her hardest to live up to the expectations of so many that I almost feel bad for her.  Here she is arriving to greet President and First Lady Obama and her pussy-grabbing husband couldn't even assist her in getting up the steps.

Nevertheless, she looks great in both of her looks during the inauguration festivities and that's about the only positive thing I can speak to about dooms day.  Like the rest of America, we will have to see what comes of this fiasco with the shift in power, but in the mean time, Melanie let us know if you want out girl.

A New America: Melania Trump

It's officially the end of an era, the Obama era.  A period in time that has given us all hope, faith, and a sense of pride.  As the wife of the 44th President of the United States of America, Michelle Obama stepped into the role of First Lady with such class, grace, and poise.  For 8 years, First Lady Obama has given of herself in efforts to make the future of our children brighter, speaking on behalf of women for equality, all while being impeccably dressed!

It's a bitter sweet day to see her and the POTUS give their final waives as the first couple and leave us behind with the step-father from hell (you know who I'm speaking of).  We will miss them so much it hurts.  Such character and compassion exudes from these two.  They could be no better POTUS and FLOTUS than these two, President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama.
